Brandy's Letter
Dear Mrs Ambur & Mr Lefra,
I’m Brandyfoot S. Lowhaven of Green-Acres, Mootland. We’ve never met, but your niece-once-removed, Isabella, attended Sambrook Pipplesnip’s coming of age Piefest 12 summers past. Sambrook was my baker’s dozen, in case you were wondering. So I'm sure we'd get along.
The Lowhaven Mootcouncil gave me an important job which was making contact with you both and hopefully getting our Mootland-Altdorf cake trade started again. There’s a lot of half-inched stuff waiting in the Moot that we could ship up, that could make us all a fair bit of bread if you were up for it.
Since the crackdown of the cheese smuggling in the Moot, they feel that our intercity relationship isn’t all that anymore.
Sadly, I couldn't meet you because we had to leave Altdorf in a much unexpected hurryness. One of the Shortbottoms in my travelling group, in self-defence please note, brown-breaded a Big.
Now, I don’t know how in works in the Big Smoke and with Bigs, but I remember when old-Jammy Redtoes got squashed in the Eastworks apple mill they had to make sure his wife and littles were well fed and looked after. I know this Big was definitely a rotten apple, no doubts on that, but he may have Big littles and I don’t know if you could check. They may be hungry. Max Ernst was the Big’s name.
We are travelling to Bogenhafen now, where we will stay for the Schaffenfest and maybe longer. I’ll be in the Half-Measure staying with Foxy Lowhaven. Send a message if you want to.
May your cakes be sweet, pies be hot, and cider tasty.
Mr B.S. Lowhaven
